Houston, we have a new Website!

It’s been some time in the planning and the making, but finally, we have a new Website!

Welcome to the new and improved NELP website.  Built on the WordPress platform, we hope this site will be easier to maintain than our previous site, and actually become a valuable source of information for our members, as well as those who just happen by.

While the site is still a work in progress, the basic information is here… specifically, our Calendar of events.  In addition to the calendar we will be adding a members section, an image gallery (for our members to showcase their work), a resources section, and more!

What we need to do all this is help… your help.  We would like this site to become the voice of our members.  For that to happen, we need to hear from you.  In the coming months we will be looking for contributors to help with content.  We also want to know about your upcoming events so they can be added to the calendar.  Help us make this a great website and resource for the photographic community.

Thank you for your help and support!

Next Image Review & Upcoming Holiday Party

Our next image review is Monday (December 10) at 7:30 pm.  The optional topic for this review is “Square“, but as always you can bring any images (up to 8) that you’d like to share.

Our annual NELP holiday dinner will be Monday, December 17 (a week earlier than usual) at 6:30 pm, at the Lotus Flower restaurant in Framingham (near Walmart).  They have an excellent dinner buffet ($16.95), or you can order exactly what you’d like from the menu.  If you can’t make it at 6:30, it is ok to arrive a bit later.  The buffet is open until 8:30.  If you’d like to join us, please let me know so I can reserve enough seats (I’ll call in a count on Sunday.  I initially reserved a table for 12)  During dinner, I propose we consider (in addition to our usual free-flowing discussion) the following question:  “How can we encourage and develop art awareness and appreciation in our community?”

Looking forward to seeing you.
